Meet Sarah Owner of Raven's View Landscaping. Hi, I am Sarah, founder and proud owner of Raven's View Landscaping. You could say landscaping is in my blood. I come from a hard-working European-Canadian family, where dedication, determination, and a drive to prove oneself were values instilled in me from an early age.
My journey began at just 12 years old, working summers at my aunt and uncle's greenhouse business. I will be honestI didn't love it then. It was hot, it was hard, and there were way too many snakes! But looking back, it planted the seed. At 17, I found myself working at a garden centre, and that's where things clicked. I was learning hands-on while finishing high school, and a drafting class project led me to design my first landscape plancomplete with hand-coloured vellum. From that moment, I knew this was what I wanted to do.
I went on to study Landscape Technology at Niagara College and never looked back. Over the years, I've worked with various landscaping companies, gaining deep industry knowledge and experience. Apart from a few years in other roles, landscaping has been my lifelong career. What truly sets Raven's View apart is our focus on customer satisfaction, honesty, and education. I see myself not just as a landscaper, but as someone helping clients bring their vision to lifereliably and transparently.
I've been fortunate to work with incredible clientssome for decadesand to give back through community seminars and volunteer projects designing public spaces for local townships. One of my most rewarding experiences was revisiting a client almost 20 years after our first project together to redesign their property post-renovation. They were thrilled again with the outcome; this moment reminded me why I love what I do. Looking ahead, my goal is simple: to keep delivering high-quality landscaping solutions, to collaborate with like-minded professionals, and to foster a workplace where people feel empowered, respected, and proud of their work. I'm here for the long runfor my clients, my team, and the community.
